Well, we have been climbing mountains on the Italian coast, eating pasta to keep up our strength and enjoying everything about Italy. We had three days in Florence and then went to the cinque terre for three nights, unbelievable, must return, best hard working vacation ever. Now we are taking it easy in Venice and then on to the Italian alps for more hiking. I don't think I realized how great it would be to get out and really experience Italy so close. It is great, I can definitely recommend a walking vacation.
It is time for lights out, penny is a slave driver when it comes to getting sleep:)
